Shortly after 9-11 I went out on a service call to a facility in the University of Central Florida complex to do a quick maintenance check on their fire system pump engines and was met at the entrance by 2 armed guards not in military attire. Very polite but they had to have an employee with...

    It had to happen sometime!

Hell no, what sucks is I just spent a week of my spare time fixing the AC in the car. Her next car was a new Ford Maverick and 6 months into owning it she totaled it. The good part of that is she got more from the insurance company then she paid for it.

    Spare parts prices

My parents bought a new house in 1960 and it came with a new Hotpoint refrigerator at some point it was moved to the utility room and still kept food cold when my Dad sold the house in 1994, I wonder how long the new owners kept it.

    So how sad is this

I really think we were robbed by top 40 in the 60s and 70s basically until FM radio became popular. It was like the mafia that controlled who got air play and who didn't. If you bought albums you got to bypass that.

    So how sad is this

I am more of a Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Listener and prefer a lot of the non-top 40 tracks that unless you bought the albums in the old days you may never have heard. David Gilmor who is now 80 has a new album coming out in September and some of the tracks are on YouTube if any are interested.
