Career choices and best way to start myself off

In today's market, you need to be motivated, driven, and find a niche. You're young, so building a reputation is key, to building a career, a business, or whatever you're after. Don't go into it wanting to be on TV, you'll be setting yourself up, for a huge letdown. A desire to excel will take...

Bought this at an event, received it a few months later, so can't use it on my car, as mine has no holes for bumperettes. Very nicely done, and will get a picture as soon as I can. Message me with inquires. Still in the shipping package I received it in. Have only had it about 1 month,so it...

    518 46re smoked

probably no hard part damage unless the bands are down to metal. Plenty of performance parts if you want to beef it up even more. Where in SoCal. Ever make it over to Phoenix. Cost is relative to what parts you put in. Clutch brand and quality being one factor.

HDK Tubular Coil Over for Stock Steering

Have had the kit on for over a year now. Had the Dart at MATS 2017, and ran the strip and the autocross, and was very pleased with how it performed. Handling is very controlled at speed too. Have had a few runs in the 130 range. Need to switch back to street gears, and really push the speed up.

Think it's worth the money, 1970 Duster 366?

Eagle eye there, eh Greg. So the add says this. Holycow, 550 for detailing is insane, especially if they couldnt bother to clean the doorcards. Offer away too, they are ready to GET you, haha. DETAILING - This vehicle had a $550 detail leaving it immaculate front to back, in and out, with...

Manual valve body 727 - 3rd gear won't engage under full throttle

a pressure test on the base(middle) and front servo could tell you some useful information. RMVB the manual valve dictates the gear, the governor circuit doesn't apply, so if you just moved all of the parts to another case, verify no pressure loss issue.

Is vacuum advance needed with MSD box with a daily driver?

You have to answer the question about initial timing asked. My understanding is with no vacuum advance, your mileage could suffer, though these distributors come with a few degree shims, for upwards of 18degrees advance. In my scenario, its purely performance, and run 20 initial, and 34...

4" b.p. Wheel Vintiques rims, Any input on quality

as long as you have an open rear,it can. Not sure they still make the 4" pattern wheels anymore. Best to just call them direct and ask. I've had 4 different setups from them, no issues with any of them.

    42RH / A-500 in a Duster with pictures.

it'll handle it. I'm hitting one with almost 600hp. I had my input and hub cryoed, just to give it a bit more strength. Currently running 4.56s and have hit it hard through all the gears. Lockup is not necessary, but even in lockup, it holds just fine. Just don't hit lockup under extreme...

    Considering a Silver Sport Transmission

you only need to control LU and OD,and it controls when it engages and disengages and by throttle position, so how much more flexibility you need?

    A500

I'll agree its a tire fryer with big motor, and lots of gear. Currently playing with 4.56s, and its just plain silly to launch. But my cruise RPMs aren't any worse than the 904 and 3.55s before.

    Considering a Silver Sport Transmission

HGM Electronics in CA has a Compushift module you can program to your liking for the 42RH. Converters are cheap for it too, if you don't want anything special. I'd go the 42RH route. All RH Dodge transmissions work the same, so it will work. COMPUSHIFT Mini for Chrysler A518/46RH and Chrysler...

Considering adding a lift - thoughts on 2-post vs. 4-post?

depends on the real usage. Storage mostly, 4 post or build a bigger shop. For real work everyday, 2 post. Have had mine for 16yrs, use it for anything and everything. And just learn how to make the lift work for you. Seeing these guys on these car shows crawling around on the floor with the...

What aftermarket tach do you have? Any issues?

Autometer 3-3/8 Elite series, with backlighting shift light. Easy to read, and you set the backlighting color for shift warning to shift actual.
