To finally get done I tapped the hole with 1/4 20 and put a allen screw in with red lock tight. This will out last the car.

I tried to put the pin in today, after removing the switch Ive come to the conclusion that the man that put the power steering kit in must have put the steering shaft in the column upside down because there is no hole for the trip pin. Is that possible?

Screw could be a option car doesn't get driven every day, I took one out of another column but Im not sure if it will stay tight when I try to reinstall. Im still listening for options fellows.

I bought a dizzy from Mancini racing you can curve it right from the top without taking it way apart. It looks like a mopar dizzy on the outside. $165.

I did trailbeast hei conversion about 4-5 years ago its trouble free and very easy to install. Its hotter spark works good, you cant go wrong with this conversion.

You have two different flashers, one for turn signals, and one for 4 way flashers. If you added led bulbs or something like that you will probably need a heavy duty flasher, or the new electronic ones, or add ballast. Been there and done it.

I think that's a noise suppressor to keep electric noises out of your radio.

Just for **** and giggles check and see if you have a points style voltage regulator or electronic. I don't think its your problem but you may want to change over in the future.

I like interstate, but I went to optima 8 years ago with the yellow one, I'm more than happy and it shows no signs yet of quitting, and its not leaking acid everywhere from over charging when they sit for weeks at a time.

I had a similar problem like this forty some years ago, it turned out to be a blown fuse and it was some how allowing current to go where it shouldn't. Just check all fuses its free.

You need 194 bulbs and the twist pieces which are easy to get. The radio may get its ground through the antenna which is grounded through the fender.

I did the cam first 6 months later I had to change the switch. Fpund a nos switch on ebay for 50 bucks.

A member here trailbeast sells a hei conversion that works very well, it will eliminate your ballast resistor, watch his video, I have this set up and couldn't be happier.

The mancini dizzy looks like the mopar one but you can curve it real easy.

They make electronic ones with a cover to look like the original, I ended up using one 6 years ago and never had trouble again.
