Anything BUT B5...uggh I see that color ALL THE TIME and cant stand it lol. My RoadRunner was supposed to be B5 but I could not do it...had to go B3 blue on it.

I know the 73 had a hard/non fabric headliner. i know they now reproduce this item(finally). Question I have is can you still use the earlier fabric style like from a 71/72 Demon/Duster in a 73 Dart Sport? which would be cheaper to do. Would I need the bows from that year car or would this not work?

I say Rallies, I have just never really liked steelies on a A Body...don't know why just don't like them on them. I really like them on the 68-70 B bodies not not on A's...also dont like them on E bodies...I guess I cant tell ya why..just must be a preference/visual deal for me. But I DO like...

Is it even a "stock" color? is it Winchester Grey? just looks darker than the factory colors ive seen.

yeah hit the link that should bring up the pictures i took there were like 21 of them. I figured it would work here also(did for me) as it worked over at Moparts. Swap meet was the same as normal..cool to look but mostly either over priced or junk or both...there were a few decently priced...

Just got back this afternoon from Carlisle. Was a balst as usuall. Got to see Don Garlits run the Swamp Rat down the track at south mountain...talk about awesome when he lit that thing up you KNEW IT!..he did a burnout right in front of us...you could smell the nitromethane and feel the pulese...

Agreed, When I took the RoadRunner in it cost $400 for the rebuild..I bought the kit and a new 3000converter also so say $500(since the kit cost $100 it was a ATI kit and was awesome..tranny shop said some of the best parts they had seen for a rebuild) and that was with THEM taking it out and...

Did the shipping cost a ton? Ive been thinking of this for a while now but just have never gotten around to doing it. I wanted to get it from someone at Carlisle to try and save the shipping but they say its drop shipped from manufacturer so you "can't save" on the shipping :(

Lol, I hear ya about the A body. I am NOT in it for the investment or $$ i just like to drive them. I dont even like the restoration part..just give me a car to DRIVE and do routine maintainance on and im good...thats why i like the A's so much. Look good, still IMO Muscle Cars, Perform well...

yeah, lol they have been setting in the shed now for going on 3 years. Wanted them for the RoadRunner I sold...the A body was just a better car as far as not needing stuff done to it thus more affordable for a "average" guy :) . Now they just take up space and I don't plan on getting another B...

I debated the chrome/aluminum thing but after going through a set of Cragars that rusted after 3 years or so I was ready to get something I could just polish up and not ever rust :).

Got a set of painted(B3 Blue) steelies that im getting ready to clear out of taking up room in my shed. good shape no major damage. Was going to put them on my 69 RoadRunner till I sold it and got the Dart Sport. I will try to get a picture up. I wish the nice color showed up on these better but...

Not trying to hijack...but is there a difference in the 340 intake manifolds(stock ones) meaning a difference between a 68-72 and a 73 340 intake.. I STILL have the 340 stock intake but right now its got a Edelbrock Performer on it(no not the RPM)...would there be a difference between the stock...

some people believe it or not actually LIKE the gear drive noise...how do I know...Im one that likes it lol :) . One time I thought a guy had a underhood supercharger on a 67 ChevyII coming into a show..opened the hood nothing..I asked what all the noise was he said the gear drive..I for one...

Plus HONESTLY unless you just like to throw money OUT THE WINDOW...look into a set of 318/360 manifolds. I think most people realize now on a mild build up that the "vaunted" 340 manifolds gain a WHOPPING 1-2 HP over 360 log manifolds on a 300 HP engine...right? And even on more of a build it...

what would that be and I REFUSE to pay over $300 for a set of headers so DON'T say TTI! :) I want a set that fits and does not hang down low....

What can you tell me about the Spitfire headers that Harold makes? I heard he is back and offers COD so you dont get ripped off. Anyone got these? what and how do they fit. I have a 73 Dart Sport 340 with Power Steering,Power Brakes,console shifter, id NOT be willing to switch anything...

And with the wenol and type stuff are we talking about just the tube polish OR are we talking about the bars?

No, they are not clear coated...I think the stuff I was trying to use was either not abrasive enough or just a polish...it bwsiacly looked like id barely touched the wheel after using a drill and buff with it...that was Blue Magic metal polish cream...basicaly looked like id done nothing after...
